Full description of the video

The video shows the device resting on a desk with a printed Gemara volume beside it for scale. On the E-Ink screen a page of Gemara opens in the traditional daf layout — Gemara, Rashi and Tosafot — with a bar above it for choosing tractate and page, going back a page, switching between the daf layout and running text, changing the type size, and writing and erasing tools for marking up the page. Through the video pages are turned, the library menu at the side is opened — Talmud Bavli, Mishnah, Tanach, Talmud Yerushalmi, Shulchan Aruch and Tur and more — further commentaries such as Yad Ephraim are opened, and a search is demonstrated with the on-screen keyboard.

FAQ

Does it need an internet connection?

No. The entire library is preloaded on the device and study works fully offline. A network connection is only needed if you want content updates.

What is the difference between the models?

The library and the application are identical on all models. Only the screen differs: 13" (33.8 cm diagonal) is the largest, for fixed study; 10" (26.2 cm diagonal) is easier for study at a desk and for the full daf layout; and 7" (17.8 cm diagonal) is lighter to carry and fits in a pocket.

How long does the battery last?

An E-Ink screen draws power only when the display changes, so a single charge lasts weeks of normal study.

Can other apps be installed on it?

No, and that is the point. The device ships locked to study only — no app store, no browsing, no notifications.

How are content updates delivered?

Library updates load over a one-time Wi-Fi connection, or by cable. No permanent connection is required.

What is the warranty? Who do I contact if it breaks?

You contact us. We are your single point of contact for any fault — hardware or software — and we handle the importer on your behalf.

Can I get a tax invoice?

Yes. Every purchase is accompanied by a proper tax invoice.

Is there institutional pricing?

Yes. Bulk purchases have separate terms — leave your details on the institutional form and we will send a quote.

When will the device be available?

The device is in production. Anyone who registers in advance is notified first and gets priority in delivery.
